The Villa du Sendenbach

A traditional Alsatian house in the Vosges mountains

Enjoy a few days in a period house on the outskirts of a lovely small village. Half-timbering, steep roofs and local stone make up a traditional facade, for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. The bedrooms, tastefully decorated, each have their own bathroom; several open onto a private balcony overlooking the surrounding ridges.

The house combines two apartments — one with four double bedrooms, the other with three — which can be rented separately or together, for a group of up to fifteen people, babies and children included.

Outdoors & heritage

Outdoor life

Hiking, mountain biking or horse riding towards the Gaschney, the Schnepfenried, the Hohneck or the Petit Ballon, with its panoramic view over the Munster valley. Those seeking more adventure can try paragliding or hot-air ballooning; in winter, several ski resorts are just a short drive away.

Food & heritage

Munster and Colmar, the Alsace Wine Route and its villages: farm inns, tastings and cheese-dairy visits are all part of the trip. In Muhlbach, the village bakery rounds off your morning basket, and our partner restaurant takes care of the rest.

"An idyllic setting for a nature getaway — and the wish to come back very soon."
